Female dressed in purple sari with gold border, cream pants, and purple, orange, green and tan shirt (same fabric as 2003.26.6, 2003.26.12). Around each ankle are silver anklets that were crimped on, and around each arm is a band of silver fabric the same as the trim on the shirt, cuffs and collar. Around the neck is another gold fabric band. Hanging from each ear is an earring made from one spherical silver bead and one cylindrical red bead threaded on wire and threaded from ears. Both ears are orange and hair is black, composed of black fabric over the head with black thread over the fabric and the black thread pulled to the back of the head into a braid tied with green fabric. Face painted on and a brass ring stitched to left nostril. Thumbs are distal to the body. Color: ML
