2007.12.1 (Paddle, Sorority)

Kappa Phi paddle. Kappa Phi was a Methodist women's sorority that was installed in October 1928 and dissolved in 1971. It has the Kappa Phi symbols of a lit candle and pink roses. Mildred Landsberg class of 1934, Leola M Catlin, class of 1932, and Verna B. Reisser, class of 1931 are all named on the paddle, the paddle was most likely given to the pledge Landsberg by Catlin and Reisser, who were already members of the sorority.
