Cylindrical wooden handle in two portions. Bottom of handle is shaped like a shot glass with the wide end at the bottom (with a silver metal bottom), top part of handle tapers at both ends with a band of brass attaching to a silver colored oblong shaped guard. Handle is black ebony wood with thin stripes of multiple color running horizontally. Blade is longer than handle and begins to curve about mid-blade. End of blade comes to a sharp curved point. Shapes etched into both sides of blade, some crescents, some circles.
