The front cover reads "Welch's System: Attendance, Classification, Gradation and Close Supervision". Published by WM Welch Company Publishers, Chicago. Hardback, bound with four staples. The covers are green with red binding covering and corners. Inside are pages with grids to record grades and attendance of students. The first pages dictate the course of study for Iowa schools, Iowa laws and instructions for filling out the grids. the last two pages list the visitor record. Possibly from a Prairie Grove school based on other similar books in this collection.
