Souvenir from the Scott Public School, District No. 5, Scott Twp., Fayette Co., Iowa. The teacher was Miss Teresa Collins and Belle Thorpe was the county superintendent. The front cover has color illustrations of the American flag, George Washington, the Liberty Bell, and a building labeled Independance Hall. Inside are four pages of poems with decorative black and white boarders and illustrations. The back cover had a small illustration of a candlestick and two wreaths. Bound by two staples. Unknown year, but circa 1915 based on the county superintendent.
