The ballot’s proposition text reads, “Shall the old schoolhouse and other school property of the corporation situated on the southwest corner of Section 8, in Geneseo Township, Tama County, Iowa, be sold and the proceeds applied to the teachers fund?” To the right of the proposition is a preprinted parallelogram and preprinted text that reads, “Vote “Yes” or “No” in the space below.”
