A double caxixi, a type of rattle, made from woven fibers and filled with a variety of different materials. This double caxixi is made up of two gourd-shaped rattles woven together at the tops, forming a u-shaped handle; additional fiber crosstie has been added between the top of each rattle to help hold the shape. Each caxixi contains some variety of metal pieces.
