3"x1.75" Photo - 37 Millimeter Anti-Aircraft and Anti-Tank Gun - Fort Sheridan, Illinois. The photo itself is a photo taken of a postcard. In 1942, Grogan Photo Company (located in Danville, Illinois) came out with a series of postcards that were taken in the Fort Sheridan Military base. Each postcard shows a portion of the base, and then labels the photograph with the description of what was taking place. In this case, the original postcard showed a group of men standing next large pieces of weaponry. This correlates with the written words on the postcard as it states, "37 Millimeter Anti-Aircraft and Anti-Tank Gun Fort Sheridan, Illinois."
