Mascot-style head of TC Panther, one of the dual mascots of the University of Northern Iowa. The head is made from a sculpted foam material covered in a black, faux-fur fabric and is cat-like with folded, triangular ears, large, sculpted cheek tufts, and an elongated snout. The eyes are plastic insets with yellow irises and round pupils, along the outside edge of each eye are rounded, somewhat triangular, purple accents made from a felt-like fabric. The snout has a purple nose made from a harder foam, an open mouth, revealing four white, pointed teeth (made from the same material as the nose) and a red fabric tongue, and three whiskers made from cylindrical black plastic (there is one whisker on the proper left and two on the proper right). There is a circle of black, faux-fur fabric coming out from the bottom of the head, at the back bottom of which is a piece of Velcro. Attached to the inside of the head is a plastic helmet, similar to those used for football, which is padded with off-white foam and a detachable plastic chin strap.
