23 1999.6.1 Knife and sheath A decorated silver knife (a) and sheath (b). The knife has no sharp cutting edge. The designs described below are the same on both sides. The hilt of the knife and the sheath are decorated with an ornate scrolling pattern. The pattern is accentuated with raised silver beads and red stones, 3 on each side on hilt and 4 on each side of sheath. The handguard displays the same pattern and is curved. The top curves upward and the bottom downward. In the center of the blade continues a similar scrolling pattern about 6 3/4" in length. The top of the hilt features an elongated red stone, 3/4" in length.
