1 1975.18.1.1 Pot Brass cooking pot is 2 1/2" tall and measures 3 1/4" at its widest. It has a rounded bottom with two dents on it. The throat of the pot curves in from the body. The inside is finished in a ripple effect. The outside of the pot appears to have bands of different brass finishes on it. One end of tong is round to fit around the bowl. The other end is oval shaped (probably for hanging). a. Brass cooking pot. b. Long iron tong-like removable handle.
2 1975.18.1.11 Figurine Bullock and cart, In the cart is a sitting figure (god?) The driver has his right arm raised.
3 1975.18.1.3 Burner, incense Heavy bowl (incense burner) with Indian script incised on top phlange. Four figures grouped together along phlange. Ganessa, sacred bull, bird (?) and one other with four arms. The outside of the bowl is ridged horizontally and vertically except for a place where a raised circle, a crescent and 7 incised circles with an incised point in the middle of each.
4 1975.18.1.4 Figurine Heavy. Figure of a god, 4 arms, standing with right foot atop a kneeling pig. Lower left hand holds the hair (?) of a small man kneeling on the pig's neck. The upper left hand is holding a sword raised behind the head. The figure of the god and pig are on a raised platform and backed by what looks like an arched door. The arched door is covered with incised patterns.
5 1975.18.1.5 Calendar Forty-year calendar for 1964-2003. Round with scalloped edges. Floral pattern of turquoise flowers, gold leaves on a red background. Stands on 3 legs attached by a screw, going through the center of the calendar. The back leg is hinged so that it opens forming a tripod with the 2 stationary front legs. a. Calendar. b. 6 1975.18.1.8 Dish Bhuvaneshwar, filigree, silver. Leaf shaped with the handle forming the stem of the leaf. There are 3 leaves with the bottom edges coming together to form a triangle in the center of the dish. Rising from this is a small container with a hinged lid resting on a tripod of filigree. The stem extends upward to the container giving it the appearance of a flower.
7 1978.23.8 Calendar Fifty-five year; decorative engraved brass. Engraved floral design. Has revolving brass disc on back for changing date. Front is inscribed, "Present by Brass Emporeum", "55 Yrs. Calendar", "1960-2014". Face of calendar is inlaid in red. Months, years and days appear on front, and on revolving brass disc. A hinged brass, reclining stand is attached to the back.
