1 MAC-197 Ceramic Porcelain Number Jar by artist Nathan Schmid. Blue wheel turned ceramic jar. Jar features a spiral design of 8 ridges ending in a defined lip. On top of the jar sits a hand formed lid with an oversize knob in the same blue slip. The inside of the jar is finished in a brown slip. The lid fits in only one position. MAC-197 (Ceramic) image
2 MAC-198 Ceramic Unknown by artist Nicholas Ryan Meyer. Brown hand formed clay jar with lid made by artist, Nicholas Ryan Meyer.  Entire ceramic is finished in a brown slip. Both the jar and the lid have incised decoration and the lid if finished with a large loop handle. Purchased at the 2009 UNI Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition by the College of Humanities, Arts, and Sciences and gifted to Rod Library in 2015.  MAC-198 (Ceramic) image
3 MAC-199 Ceramic Pitcher by artist Nicholas Ryan Meyer. The ceramic item received a Juror's Honorable Mention at the 2009 UNI Student Juried Art Exhibition. The College of Humanities, Arts, and Sciences purchased the art and later gifted it to Rod Library in 2015 by the UNI President's office. MAC-199 (Ceramic) image
4 MAC-200 Ceramic Now That I Realize Possibilities Are Endless by artist Christopher Singewald. Non-functional brown ceramic vase with triangle and rectangle cutouts. The lower pedestal section has four rectangle cutouts around the circumference and the top has small triangles staggered around the circumference. 5 MAC-201 Ceramic White glazed ceramic by artist Marilyn Davis. This cut porcelain vase features a diamond shape with geometrical cut outs along the top 1/3 of the ceramic.  The object was purchased from the College Hill Arts Festival in 1986. MAC-201 (Ceramic) image
6 MAC-202 Ceramic Brothers by artist Zachary Bowman. Raku Fired Stoneware. Ceramic is a fluted vase style with two sharp ridges coming out form the body of the pot with alternating bands of white and black. Part of a set of three similar pots varying in size, other pots are MAC-203 and MAC-204. 8 MAC-206 Ceramic Life on Mars by artist Charlee Rogers. 2006 Purchase Award for the UNI Office of the President. Ceramic pot. This pot features an elongated circular shape with a faired rim and very narrow base and is produced from a white clay.  The pigments are rough to the touch and not the conventional glaze and feature a patchwork of black, red, blue, and white colors throughout with the white clay being seen inside the pot and on the bottom.  MAC-206 (Ceramic) image
