51 RSC-FIC-3 Photograph Black and White photo of a class of 22 children and their teacher inside a schoolhouse. The photo is mounted on black cardboard. The girls are in dresses and black tights, many have big hair bows. The boys are dressed in an array of overalls, long sleeve shirts, or jackets. The chalk board is full: the top has a drawn banner of stars and American flags, the left side has a schedule or list of tasks written in regular print, the center shows a circular calendar with 4 photos in the center and "1913-1914", and the right has a few dozen words written in cursive with diacritical marks. The wall to the left is decorated with cut-out butterflies and 6-point stars. The back of the photo reads "10-21-01. From Nanelle (Lininger) Lane, granddaughter of Juanita Lininger (90+ years old) whose photos included this one. Mrs. Lininger was for many years a school nurse in the Waterloo public schools (retired in 1972)."
52 RSC-JA-12 Photograph Black and White photo of a class (17 children and their teacher) posed on a cement set of stairs. The boys are wearing either overalls, suspenders, or a dress shirt. The girls are all in dresses - most of which are floral - with their hair curled and pinned back. The back lists their named: " Top Row: Left to Right: Herbert Hager, Charlain Cookley, Henry Schiffer, Vincent Hutchins, Roman Bonifas, Jackie Anglin, Leonard Ryan, Eldon Hager, Marie Lynch. Bottom Row: Left to Right: Mildred Hayes, Merlin Mahoney, Lucille Ryan, Richard McKenna, LeRoy Ellinger, Loras Ryan, Jinnie Hattery, Celine Anglin, Grace Wirtz." The back addition says, "Taken in about 1939."

Multiple men are holding their hat in their hands. Each have a ribbon and a tag pinned to their suit lapel. One in the back row, middle, is holding a large American Flag. The bottom says "Jackson County - IA. Boys. Feb 24th, 1918. Copyright W. Cundill Photo." The Back features a handwritten message: " Compliments of W. D. Spurl & Miss Ellen L. Slattery. Associated with Hansen Produce Co. Belleview, IA. Feb 28th, 1918.

Most of the boys are in overalls and jackets. The girls are all in dresses, long coats, and hats. The caption reads, "Zwingle School Grades 1 to 4 Dec 1935." The back has handwriting that reads, "Bob Delinger middle row far right."
