55 00.30.96V Core Stone core, roughly in the shape of a projectile point but the stone is not worked enough to be sure. Top face is orangey brown unworked stone with bumpy pock marks. Around the edges of this face are orange and brown worked stone colors. Knap marks are very evident and most have dirt inside the grooves. The bottom edge is flat and shows the orange and gray colors inside the stone. The edges are uneven but not sharp and the point is thin but uneven and not clearly in the shape of a point. The back face is only worked stone. The center is pink in color. A horseshoe shape surrounds it with a ring of dark gray color -- this ring follows the shape of the worked stone. Outside that band is the same pink colored stone as was in the center but with hints of orange. A tiny bit of brown unworked stone is visible at the top by the point. Knap marks are across this entire surface but it is smooth. 00.30.96V (Core) image
