These thread designs begin at 1/2" wide, then in a back and forth action widen to 2 1/4" wide then back to 1/2' wide. Red ones are on the sides. Yellow designs line the middle. The yellow continues through the body of the scarf. The red is reserved only for the border. The same designs line the sides of the scarf 10" apart in green rather than red.
