1 2020-FIC-108 Pamplet Informational pamphlet on Area V Title II of the Elementary-Secondary Education Act of 1965. This pamphlet explains how Webster, Calhoun, Sac, Pocahontas, Buena Vista, Carroll, Greene, Hamilton, Wright, and Humbolt counties obtained 16 mm films, specialized books, and materials for the partially sighted students in their school districts. This pamphlet came from the Webster County Superintendent of Schools' Office in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Reprinted from Fort Dodge Messenger, Saturday, December 9, 1967.
2 2023-20-1 Scrapbook Book of assorted black and white photos and notes from the Washington #1 school in Webster County, 1944-1948. The covers are gold with handwritten titles and are tied together with a brown ribbon. Inside are photos of the teacher, Helen Woolsey, various students, and different school activities. Most students have a cut-out picture of them beside their name and a short anecdote about life in a rural school. The last photo shows commencement was held in Fort Dodge in 1948 and the school had one graduate.
