MAC-29 (Chinese Ink, Rice Paper)

MAC-29 (Chinese Ink, Rice Paper) image

Aroma by artist Xiaoting Wang. The ink used is a traditional Chinese ink mainly used to paint rice paper. Xiaoting Wang is a world-renowned artist who resides in China. He and his daughter Dr. Penny Wang of UNI, hosted a cultural engagement sharing techniques of Chinese painting on the UNI campus. High school students were invited to participate and had the opportunity to take home painting tools from their participation. The image reflects a signature that is not a traditional note added to Chinese art so that the art holder can hang art in different positions.
