Formal with wide silver border design. Made from a sari bought in India. Roll of left-over fabric. Dress is very simple and has a slight a-line appearance. It is brilliant purple with silver metallic thread detail. It has an empire waistline and a scoop neckline. The closures are also very basic. The curfs each have two buttons on them. It has a zipper up the back starting right below the waistline, finished at the top with a hook-and-eye closure. There are also five buttons down the bodice front, yet they are permanently sewn shut. The front bodice also has bust darts that are very poorly sewn. The main fashion fabric used is silk. Since it is silk, it wrinkles very easily. The lining is also purple yet very dull and matted looking compared to the fashion fabric. The thread used to construct the garment is a purple color in between the brilliant silk purple and the dull lining color of purple. The silver metallic thread is used to make immaculate detailed designs. All of this metallic threa detail was originally in the sari from India and then placed strategically to creat the border for this dress. Color: PR,SL
