Short puffed sleeves have pleats to take up fullness. 1/4" facing at bottom of sleeve. Pads off shoulders to hold sleeve up at shoulder area. Ten 3/4" buttons marron with white centers center front opening. Shirttail hem machine attached on bottom skirt. Small animal (squirrels, dogs, cats, and owls) print in white. Skirt has 6 gores, 1 1/2" hem finished with seam tape. Natural waistline; 2 gores in back and 4 gores in front, center front and back seam. Kimono cap sleeve front set in on back; has cord embroidery. Some cutwork in cord embroidery on collar and sleeves. Belt stays; no belt. Set in puffed at shoulder, lower sleeve fitted with 2" opening at in-seam with snap. Back princess seams hem shoulder to waist, ends in yoke over hip area. Slightly pointed Peter Pan collar, ten 7/8" black buttons, princess back. Front has four horizontal seams (lowest at waistline). 4 pocket flaps on each front side of jacket - no pockets. The flaps are attached to the horizontal seams. Set in 2 piece sleeve, very narrow below elbow with 1 3/4" vent at wrist, 2" facing at sleeve bottom. 2 darts front and back at shoulder. Machine worked buttonholes. b. Black mid-length skirt made from same fabric as jacket. Flared with 8 gores (four front and back). Center back zipper with circular black button for fastening. Center front 8 buttons (covered) 1/2" diameter closure. Fabric loops are used for buttonholes. Buttons start 5 1/2" down from neckline with a snap at top and hook and eye at bottom waistline. Center back seam and waist darts in back only. Short kimono style sleeves with cuffs. A tag at the neckline reads, "A Minx Modes Junior", indicating that it is from the Minx Modes brand. b. Kimono style 3/4 sleeve with 3" attached cuff with brown stripes to match bodice yoke of rib knit. Buttons are beige with raised gold knobs. Brown strip trim. Tag at neckline reads, "Lass o' Scotland ltd. / 80% WOOL 20% NYLON" in blue and red text. b. Ribbed, below knee length skirt.
