The front cover says "Souvenir at close of school" with color illustrations of pink roses and a schoolhouse; the back says "Printed in U. S. A. by F. A. Owen Pub. Co., Dansville, N. Y." Eight pages, bound with pink twisted string.
4 RSC-KS-1 Booklet Award booklet for Anna Flom of Dist. #5, Westley Twp. School, Kossuth County, Iowa, for having 36 months of perfect attendance. Given at Algona, May 25th, 1923. Signed by Wm. Shirley, the superintendent of schools. Printed by the Metropolitan Supply Company, Anamosa, IA. The booklet has sixteen pages including several quotes and poems, illustrations of Abraham Lincoln and Georg Washington, and spaces to write the teacher's classmate's names (though empty). The covers are made of white and light blue marbled paper with "Award of Honor" on the front and an illustration of the capitol building on the back. It is bound together by a small green string.
