Replica of Polish royal flag around 1500. Wooden pole painted silver from base to flag and gold from above flag to pointed tip. Magenta color with painted silver-colored Polish eagle with spread wings in center of one side of flag. Crown on eagle's head indicates this is a very old flag (white eagle is symbol of Poland). One silver stripe painted along top and bottom borders of side with eagle. Attached to pole with 5 brass tacks. Magenta and white silk cord tied around pole just above top of flag in something like a bow with long streamers. One white loop: one magenta loop.
