Uniform jacket and badge, U. S. Army dress, Vietnam period. a. Jacket, dark green wool with silver metal army buttons at front and on all flap pockets. Jacket has two chest pockets and two large flap waist pockets. Both sleeves have sergeant stripes. The left sleeve also has the large yellow, red and blue triangular armor patch. The left lapel sports the silver metal "U.S." insignia, while the right lapel has the silver metal armor cavalry pin. Each shoulder strap has an oval silver badge with green designs, flaming torch and the words "This we'll defend." Above the right breast pocket is a black plastic name tag with the name "Koster." b.
