This mask is from the state of Guerrero, Mexico. It is a rather large mask that has facial features of a human. This mask is painted mostly light green, sans for the hair of the mask, which is painted black with brown dirt in the crevasses. The mask has two eyes that are painted white and black, and eyelashes seem to be painted on the eyelid. There are two eye slits above the eyes so that the mask wearer can see. The mouth is large and contains two wide lips, painted green and brown with dirt. The nose is large and wide and there are carved nostrils. The beard and heard of the mask are carved vertical lines with some that curl into a circle. There is a hole in the center of the top of the mask and two holes on the cheeks.
