This badge was belonged to Charles Ernest Hearst, a voting delegate for the state of Iowa for the American Farm Bureau Federation where he was Vice President from 1931-1936. Hearst was the President of the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation from 1923-1936. Hearst was from Cedar Falls, Iowa and the Hearst family name is still present in the community (10/21/10). He did a lot to strengthen the nation's agriculture during the great depression.
