This is a Mexican "Parrot" mask that might have been used in rituals. The mask is painted with different shades of green in a mottled pattern. There are two circular eye holes in different shapes and sizes, and one oval mouth that is open and the lips are painted red. The nose of the mask is long and down curved. There is a small hole in the center of the forehead and two holes on each side of the masks on the cheeks. This mask is carved out of wood and has some damage to the paint and edges.
