Photograph was most likely taken in March or early April of 1917. "Coucy-le-Chateau (Aisne) The General is standing on a platform of the castle" is written in pencil and "Photograph shows the General of the Army that took the famous chateau soon after the evacuation by the Germans" is typed on the back of the print.
