Photograph was most likely taken in March or early April of 1917. On the back of the print, "Geril Seibert who accompanied the troops to France at a French dock" is handwritten in pencil. This sentence is also crossed out in pencil. Two more words are written in pencil, perhaps a signature, but are illegible. "3372" is handwritten in blue crayon on the back of the print. This print was double exposed, either when shooting the film or in the darkroom.
