Illustration of a keyboard in opening pages. Consists mostly of various songs such as "America", On the Midnight clear", "Star-spangled Banner", "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot", "My Banjo", "Did You Ever See a Lassie", "Muffin Man", Oats, Peas, Beans", Farmer in the Dell", etc. Also has singing games, chromatic scales and a preliminary course of Study for One-room Rural Schools. The book cover is green and black squares going around it in the top center. Cover reads "A One Book Course in Elementary Music and Selected songs for Schools". "Charles A. Fullerton" is written below that and a black lyre is under the author's name. At the bottom of the cover in black "Fullerton and Gray, Cedar Falls, Iowa." This is the 4th edition printed in 1933
