Pale green label on top (a) prominently reads "Seed's/Dry Plates" also reads, "Eastman Kodak Co./Rochester, N.Y./Successor to/M.A. Seed Dry Plate Co." Also reads "Keep in a Dry Place/Open Only in Darkroom/Trade Marks Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." A logo at top dipicts an arrow with a small banner attached near the arrow head. The hanging banner says "Seed/Plates" Behind the arrow's center is a starburst-like symbol with "Trade/Mark" in its center. A wavy border encloses the above description. Outside the wavy border, in the upper left reads "K P 2379a" Along left top edge of label, in pencil reads "Gourie & Cedar Falls (Ia)/ Bragg" Printed on side of box on yellow label "1 Doz./Seed's" on a blue background with gold border "GILT EDGE 27", on yellow "4 X5" Stamped above the size "15326" Box bottom (b) has little of note, something in black in was stamped on bottom "???? - 14" This box once contained items 1989.43.560.7, .14, .15, .20-.22, .24-.27. It also contained two (2) sheets of black paper 12 3/16" X 3 7/8". There was newspaper scrap as well. The newspaper had a date of 1923 published in it. Each of the glass plates were seperated by paper scraps cut to fit the size of the glass. Also enclosed were 6 sheets of paper with notes about the photographs, these were placed in an object file.
