Simple round bell. Ridge at bottom to create a "lip" at the base. Open hole at top (diameter 1 1/2") and over this the handle, also of iron. Clapper is bronze; has a long stem created when two pieces of bronze were twisted together. Clapper is round and hollow with lines and holes cut into place. Held in placed with a modern piece of copper wire. Color: BK
