Pen and stand given to Dr. Marian Krogmann (Donor) by Russian exchange students enrolled in her seminar on American Life. The exchange program was directed by Dr. Timothy O'Conner, Dept. of History. The program was established after the breakup of the USSR. The quill pen is refillable and is made of black plastic with a single gold band. The stand is made of red and black marble with a silver cap for the pen. A tag written in Russian is attached to the bottom.
