This paper is a set of what the mimimum salary could be for teachers. "Teacher's Minimum Salary Scale." was produced by the State of Iowa and explained, "Teachers' Salaries based upon Certification, Training, and Experience." At the time, the most a teacher could be paid was $120 a month and this was only if they had both two years experience and were Graduates of a Four Year Course in an Approved College with Iowa State Certificate or Iowa State Diploma. The lowest salary was $50 a month and that was if the teacher only had a Third Grade Uniform County Certificate of Iowa.
