Homemade card which reads: "To a very dear teacher, sorry to hear your going cause you were a good teacher Hope you like being married so Good-Bye!" The card is made out of line notebook paper, folded into fourths. The front is decorated with two blue clouds and two red tulips with green stems. The inside is decorated with a black-haired woman in a red shirt with a blue-collar waving. The back simply says "Bye!" The card is inside a larger envelope labeled "May 1961, Third Grade students, Vinton Iowa", which contains several pieces of art from students wishing Miss Holland luck on marriage but they're sad she was moving away.
