Object 2024-3-12 is two parts. Part A is the sword and part B is the sheath.
B) Georgian Khanjali's sheath. Black scrollwork and black stone inlaid. Some tarnishing at the junctures of the sheath, including decorative work in the metal. Accompanies the formal male supra dance costume (2024-3-23). Worn around the waist. Used as part of the ceremonial dance. These type of daggers were used by Georgians during the Roman Empire era, but now are traditionally significant.
