Georgian carpet. Black is the base color, and geometric and stair-like patterns of red, pink, green, brown, and purple fill up the space. There are slight spaces between the colors of the carpet where the colored pieces were sewn together. The gaps are difficult to see when the carpet is flat, just when it is manipulated. Grayish brown ties are on the short ends of the carpet. The one side with these ties is braided into a total of 18 braids while the other side is not braided. This could be used as a floor carpet, or hung on the wall over a drafty window or door, or as a room divider for privacy. From the same shop as the saddle bag, object 2024-3-15.
