Svan hat, a traditional Georgian hat. Gray in color, darker gray on the outside than the inside. Black yarn attached to the outside in a ring around the circumference and an "x" across the top of the bucket hat. A tassel hangs down from the center of it, also in black yarn. Black yarn is stitched around the edge of the hat, having been handstitched. Ends of the yarn are tied inside the hat. Some black and pink stains inside the hat. Worn most frequently in the mountainous region by men, possibly as a sort of hard hat to protect the head because they are commonly worn by farmers who work outside.
