Georgian book. Gold patterned hard cover with green and red inlaid. The center has a depiction of a man fighting a tiger in the gold inlaid. The back cover is black with gold pattern around the edges. The spine has the same gold patterning including a gold cord affixed to the top and bottom ends of the spine. The inside covers have gold sparkly patterned paper. Written on the title page in blue ink is "To Her Excellency, Ambassador Kelly C. Degnan / From International Black Sea University / Rector / Saffet Bagualtutan / Tbilisi, 24.05.2020 / [signature]". This was a gift to the former U.S. Ambassador (Kelly Degnan, 2020-2023) who donated it to a third party upon leaving Georgia. The story in the book is "The Knight in the Tiger Skin", written in English. This is the national epic of Georgia and its author is Shota Rustaveli. Each page has a black decorative border. A blue bookmark was inside the book, from the International Black Sea University, located in Georgia. The back covers have gold sparkly patterned paper matching the front inside cover.
