1 1972.29.2.1 Mola Magenta-colored fabric is base with purple, yellow, orange, red, blue, green and white above, and black as the top layer. Designs cut into various layers exposing color below. Hand sewn. Concentric 5-pointed star design in center, bird at right, mammal at left. Small straight-line designs throughout. Outer edges unfinished. Underlayers exposed on right side. 2 1972.29.2.2 Blouse Top 3 1/2" back and front and short, puffed sleeves of white with lavendar printed plant design, except for narrow top tip around neck and across shoulders (yoke), which is cotton-lavender, red, yellow, and black bands, and sleeve bottom which is black cotton with red rick -ack stitched on by machine. Major portion of blouse front and back consists of cut-out designs in cotton revealing contrasting color beneath. White and pink rick-rack included in design on back, white and blue in front. Top color red; others orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, black. 1-inch band of printed, striped heavy cotton (muslin?) around bottom of blouse; colors pink, medium blue, chartreuse, and white. 5 1974.30.0005 Mola Red cloth top and bottom, multi-colored cloths between. Floral design. One edge finished with yellow band of cottom machine-stitched to main cloths. Multi-colord designs. Three sides unfinished. Color: RD,PK,GR,YL,ML
6 1975.0017 Mola Horizontal. "Siamese" chickens joined at tails and facing right and left. One small chick attached to and above tail area of both and facing viewer's left. Two smaller chicks above, three below. Top cloth layer black. Multi-colored with much red, yellow and orange and also greens, blues and violets. Philipine mahogany frame 1/2" wide around mola and 5/8" deep. This mounted on framed red burlap. Double outer frame screwed together through extra burlap edge. Color: ML
