Where the necklaces is tied there is a small section of braided chambira on one side. Made from the vertebrae of the stingray, shells, seeds, and the finger bones of monkeys and thinly sliced thorns. Black and white "beads" and vertebrae necklace [sic]. The necklace was made for everyday wear and worn by both men and women. |

Double stranded, the outer strand has a pattern of black pebble to bone for 30 "beads" right at the start of the tie. These necklaces were used for everyday wear by both men and women. |
