13 1993.37.30 Anklet Baby's anklet. A thicker metal piece is curved into almost an oval. Small, round silver pieces of a thinner piece of metal are welded to the thicker piece. 11 round bells are attached to the smaller band. At the opening, the metal becomes flat rather than round. Each bell has a slit and two small holes.
14 1993.37.31 Earring Gold circles with a small opening on the side and one circle at each end of the opening. The bottom half of the circle is decorated in a fan design, narrow ovals all meeting in a center point at the bottom of the circle. On the top of each narrow oval is a small circle. Where the narrow ovals come together is a small blue bead with a hole in the center. Along the bottom half of the circle six 1/2" circles hang 1/4" of an inch apart. On earring .031a "16087" is written in pencil on the third small circle from the left when looking at the back side of the earring. On earring .031b "16087" is written in the same manner on the 4th small circle from the left when looking at the back side. .031 c is the plastic bag the earrings arrived in. There is a border of black ink chains which form a square. Inside the square are two lines of Arabic script. The third line is "GOLD-SMITH". The fourth line is "SIM-O-ZAR". The fifth line is "Shiraz, Iran". Under this is a 5-petaled flower. Under the border of the chain design is another line of Arabic writing. Nothing seals the bag at the top. Color: YL
15 2000.1.2 Stand, book Two boards, each a rectangle joined by a hinged section. Carved from a single piece of wood. Hinge enables it to lie flat or to unfold and stand upright. Each rectangle has an enamel with painted designs of interlocking stars and small geometric shapes. One side of each rectangle has a pattern of spaced, black and purple line designs. Color: BR,BK,PR
