456 RSC-BH-87 Announcement 1917 commencement announcement card for the East Waterloo High School, Black Hawk County. It was held Thursday, May 31, at 8pm. The papers inside have info on the commencement calendar, class play, commencement program, and the class roll. A small insert card has the name of one of the graduates, Neva Ree Lizer. The card is white and has two gold, round, and embossed decorations on either side of the center opening, one with the school's name, the other stating the year. The edges of the card are also gold. The matching envelope was from Clarence L. Card, Route #3, addressed to Miss Aletha Jacobs, Parkersburg, Iowa, postmarked in Waterloo May 22, 1917.
457 RSC-BH-88 Announcement 1921 commencement announcement for the Orange High School, Waterloo, Black Hawk County. It was held Tuesday, May 31, at 8pm. The card also lists the class roll, colors, and motto. A small insert card has the name of one of the graduates, Blaine F. Miller. The trifold card has gold embossed oval on the front with the year. The accompanying envelope was addressed to Miss Aletha Jacobs. From the Aletha Jacobs Hutchison collection. 
458 RSC-BH-89 Announcement 1922 commencement announcement booklet from the Orange High School, Waterloo, Black Hawk County. It was held Thursday, May 25m at 8pm. The booklet also lists the commencement program, class colors, motto, flower, and class roll (nine students). A small insert card has the name of one of the graduates, Mary Saylor. The booklet is made of brown marbled paper, has embossed detailing, has a cut out diamond revealing a white diamond stating the year, and is bound with yellow and brown ribbons. 460 RSC-BH-90 Anouncement 1916 commencement announcement from the La Porte City High School, Black Hawk County, Iowa. It was held Thursday, June 1, at 8pm. The card also lists the commencement program, info on the class play, baccalaureate sermon info, class officers, motto, colors, flower, and class roll (nine students). A small insert card has the name of graduate, J. Everett Weart, in handwriting. The card is white with gold lettering and embossed details on the front. it is bound by red and black ribbons tied into a bow. From the Aletha Jacobs Hutchison collection.

The booklet has info on the commencement calendar, class night, class play, graduation program, class colors, flower, motto, and roll. Five small insert cards each have the name of a graduate from the Mythaler family: Belva Jane, Fern M., Mabel E., and two for Pearl G. The booklet is white with gold trim, has an embossed oval on the front with the year and gold dots, and has a white chord tied around the spine of the folded pages like a bookmark. Students and teacher are standing in the classroom in three rows with desks and a blackboard behind them. Photograph is set inside of a classmate autograph booklet that belonged to Eugene Harston, age 13.
