16 RSC-Illinois-31 Certificate School Safety Patrol certificate from the Chicago Motor Club. Granted to Tommy Treezel on May 29th, 1952. It has a thick green border and an illustration in the top right corner for four children. The text is all in black or brown ink; signatures are in black and blue ink.  From top to bottom it reads: "In Recognition of Meritorious Service the Chicago Motor Club presents this honor award to Tommy Treezel for protecting the lives of school children while serving as a member of the School Safety Patrol. Given under our hand this 29th day of May, 1952." Signed (printed) by the president of the Chicago Motor Club, Chas. M. Hayer, and three others: Delia Wright, William A Sproat, and Ivan Witbracht, Prim. 
17 RSC-Illinois-32 Certificate Spelling diploma for Ayleen Gilbur of Coles County, Illinois, 1926. It has a black and white illustration of sun rays behind a crest and the words "spelling diploma." The bottom right has the gold seal of the county superintendent of schools with a small piece of a purple ribbon underneath it.  From top to bottom it reads, "Spelling Diploma. This Certifies that Ayleen Gilbur, a pupil of the Coles County Public Schools is entitled to this Diploma for Three Hundred Perfect Spelling Lessons. Given at Charlestone, Illinois, this 6th day of June 1926." Signed by the teacher, Corinne Gwin.
