RSC-Illinois-32 (Certificate)

Spelling diploma for Ayleen Gilbur of Coles County, Illinois, 1926. It has a black and white illustration of sun rays behind a crest and the words "spelling diploma." The bottom right has the gold seal of the county superintendent of schools with a small piece of a purple ribbon underneath it. 

From top to bottom it reads, "Spelling Diploma. This Certifies that Ayleen Gilbur, a pupil of the Coles County Public Schools is entitled to this Diploma for Three Hundred Perfect Spelling Lessons. Given at Charlestone, Illinois, this 6th day of June 1926." Signed by the teacher, Corinne Gwin.
