The boxes to record grades are divided into a box containing 5 boxes for each row and have the letters MT W T F" across the top. The teacher used only the first 4 pages of the book. Across the top in blue ink is "Sept. 8 to Oct. 20 1959." "First 6 weeks". Below this are various subject headings "Spelling, Geog., Reading, Health, Science, Arith. Music & Drawing" also written in blue ink. On the second page written in pencil are the same subjects but "2nd 6 weeks" at the top "Oct. 20 to Dec. 4". There are 36 names listed and grades listed for 30 of them. The second page is folded back to reveal grades on page 4. The cover is a dark brown and plain except for the drawing of the U. S. in the center and the words "Continental Class Record" inside the U. S. The box is held together by a wire spiral binding. |
