Elizabeth Cissna, Having completed the Course of Study prescribed for the District of Schools of Dayon, Ohio, is granted this Certificate of Promotion to the High School." Signed by the superintendent, Paul C. Statson, president, Dr. H. B. Millhoff, principal, Elizabeth K. Brown, and principal, Mary E. Anshutz. The certificate is printed in black ink, has very minimal ornamentation, and has a large black and white photo of the large, three-story high school. "Elizabeth Cissna, 1927" is handwritten on the back.
