Copy of an 1887 teacher contract between teacher and superintendent C. B. Metcalf and the board of directors for the Special School District No. 9 Findlay, Hancock County, Ohio. The contract states that Metcalf will continue to teach and act as superintendent for another two years, starting September 1887, but is only required to teach the high school department. The agreed upon salary was $1100 per year. Signed on July 9th, 1887, by O. A. Ballard (president), John H. Shull, and D. F. Winders of the board of directors for the school. Document is handwritten in black ink on a piece of lined paper.
