1909 souvenir booklet from the Highland School District No. 1, Ripley Township, Holmes County, Ohio. The cover has an oval, cut-out photo of a woman as well as colorful illustrations including the American flag and a globe. The bottom reads, "Not for School but for Life we Learn." The second pages lists the students, the teacher, Grace Appleman, and the schoolboard including the president, Thomas McMillen. The rest of the pages have a poem titled "Teacher's Greetings" and several illustrations. The booklet is bound with string ending in a tassel. 5 pages.
