This paper has a drawing of the 3rd Building of Excelsior School in Lenox township in Taylor County, Iowa. It was sold in 1946 for $500 and torn down. The drawing is of the East side of the building and was drawn by Sylvia J. Schulte in 1994. She makes note of the coal shed on the Northwest corner of the school that was attached to the building, the cement foundation which was in place from 1912-1946, as well as the cement foundation beneath the steps on the porch, the cedar shingles, and the chimney. She drew this in blue ink and did shading with pencil, and also attached a plastic American flag to the front of the porch in the drawing.
