"Glaedelig Jull" is printed in red in the upper left corner. Vague imprints of a postmark are on the upper right side. The stamp has been removed from the back. It is addressed to "Miss Alice Wynegar, Main Street, Cedar Falls, Iowa, U. S. A." The message written in black reads "Dear Alice: A Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year from your old friend, Eva." Near bottom in different handwriting "Gulbergsgade 127 Copenhagen." In blue ink after the name Eva Johnson whose grandparents lived 12th & Washington.
