1998.5.30.1 (Invitation)

Two parts. a. Invitation to see the first campaign stop of the Reagan-Bush re-election bid in 1984. It was sent in an envelope (b.) mailed from "Republican Headquarters P. O. Box 1978, Waterloo, Iowa 50704." to Pauline L. Sauer, 610 W. 28th Street, Cedar Falls, iowa 50613" "Presdential Invitation" is stamped in red. The post office stamped the envelope "Waterloo, Iowa Feb. 15, 1984" and there is a USA 20-cent stamp in the right corner. On the back it says in pencil "for possible exhibit: the campaign trail." The letter has stationery that says it is from the Republicans of Black Hawk County and is signed by Don Redfern, Maynard Olson and John Curran. It is addressed to "Dear Fellow Republicans" and the text of the letter is cut into four segment statements. Color: WH,BL,RD,BK
